Decision on the abolition of Ministries of Housing, Regional Planning and the Environment and of Traffic and Water State and the establishment of a Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment

The Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and Environmental Management and the Ministry of Transport and Waterstate will be dissolved.

  • 1 Our Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations is charged with the promotion of the matters of residence, neighbourhoods, integration and the State Building Service, in so far as it was dedicated to Our Home Office on 14 October 2010. Minister for Housing, Spatial Planning and Environmental Management and Our Minister for Living, Wisdom and Integration.

  • 2 The duties of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kingdom Relations are amended accordingly.

  • 2 The tasks of the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment are amended accordingly.

  • 1 Staff and management obligations of the former Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment shall be consistent and proportionate to the task changes referred to in Article 2 of the Treaty. in the Articles 2 , 3 , 4 and 6 across the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the Ministry for Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment.

  • 2 The organizational, personal and legal aspects of the transition referred to in paragraph 1 are elaborated in consultation between Our Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, Our Minister for Economic Affairs, Agriculture and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Innovation, our Minister for Foreign Affairs and Our Minister for Infrastructure and the Environment.

  • 1 Staff obligations and other management concerns of the former Ministry of Transport and Water State shall be held at the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment.

  • 2 The organisational, personal and legal aspects of the transition referred to in paragraph 1 are elaborated in consultation between our Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment and Our Minister of Home Affairs and Kingdom Relations.

This Decision shall enter into force from the second day following the day of the Official Journal of the Official Journal, in which it is placed and operates back to 14 October 2010.

Our Minister-President, Minister for General Affairs, Our Minister of Internal Affairs and Kingdom Relations, Our Minister for Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, Our Minister for Foreign Affairs and Our Minister for Infrastructure and The Environment shall be entrusted with the implementation of this Decision, which shall be placed with the explanatory note in the Official Journal and copies of which shall be forwarded to the High Colleges of State, the Council of Ministers, the Plenipotentiary Ministers of Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten and the Ministries.
