On the nomination of Our Minister of the Interior, authorized by the Council of Ministers of 10 March 1994, Constitutional Affairs and Legislative Affairs Division:
Having regard to the Articles 64 and 137, third paragraph, of the Constitution and Article F 2 of the Kieswet ;
Have found good and understand:
The Second Chamber of the States-General shall be dissolved with effect from 17 May 1994.
The nominations for the election of the members of the Second Chamber will take place on Tuesday, 22 March 1994.
The first meeting of the newly elected Second Chamber will take place on Tuesday, 17 May 1994.
Our Minister of Home Affairs shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decision, copies of which shall be sent to the two Chambers of the States-General, to the Council of State, to the Ministries, to the Electoral Council and to the Court of Auditors, and that with the note of explanatory notes in the State Sheet and in the Official Gazette will be placed.
