Law of 19 december 2001, on the approval of the national in Nice on 26 February 2001 Treaty of Nice amending the Treaty on European Union, the treaties establishing the European communities and certain related acts, with protocols (Trb. 2001, 47) we Beatrix, by the grace of God, Queen of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau, etc. etc. etc.
All who read this will see or hear, greetings! do: So We have considered, that in Nice on 26 February 2001 established Treaty of Nice amending the Treaty on European Union, the treaties establishing the European communities and certain related acts, with protocols, pursuant to article 91, paragraph 1, of the Constitution requires the approval of the States General, before the Kingdom can be stipulated;
So it is, that we, the Council of State of the Kingdom of heard, and with agreement of the States-General of the Netherlands, the provisions of the Charter for the Kingdom being taken into account, as we find good goedgevonden and have understood and understand this: article 1 in Nice on 26 February 2001 established Treaty of Nice amending the Treaty on European Union , the treaties establishing the European communities and certain related acts, with protocols, the text of which was posted in Tractatenblad 2001, 47, is approved for the whole realm.

Article 2 with the declarations annexed to the final act of the Treaty referred to in article 1 are welcome, in so far as they contain a detailed explanation of provisions of the Treaty.
