All of them, who will see or hear these, saluut! do know:
In this regard, we have taken the view that it is desirable to review the system of functions and remuneration for judicial officers;
In this way, we, the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have been well-regarded and understood to be right and to be understood by the following:
1 The appointments of those who, on the day prior to the entry into force of this law as coordinating vice-president or vice-president of a court of justice, the Central Board of Appeal, are the College of Appeal for the business community have been appointed as senior counsel in the relevant college, as a result of the law. They shall not be sworn in or installed as such.
2 The appointments of those appointed as coordinating vice-president of a court on the day prior to the entry into force of this Act shall be amended by law in an appointment as a Senior Judge A of a court. They shall not be sworn in or installed as such.
3 Appointments of those appointed to Vice-President of a Court on the day prior to the entry into force of this Act shall be amended by law in an appointment to a Senior Judge of a Court. They shall not be sworn in or installed as such.
4 By way of derogation from Article 7, second paragraph, of the Law on the legal position of judicial officers the coordinating vice-governors appointed by the first paragraph as senior counsel in a court of justice, the Central Board of Appeal of the College of Appeal for business, shall be responsible for the determination of their salary shall be classified in category 6 as referred to in that Article, for as long as they have been appointed as senior councilor.
The appointments of those appointed as officer in the rank officer of the first class on the day prior to the entry into force of this Law shall be amended by law in an appointment as senior officer of the judiciary. They shall not be sworn in or installed as such.
This Act shall enter into force from the day following the date of issuance of the Official Gazette in which it is placed.
Burdens and orders that it will be placed in the Official Gazette, and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and officials who so concern will keep their hands on the precise execution.
