Law of 16 July 2001 amending certain articles of the Environmental Management Act (Chapter 12) in connection with the revision of the EMAS Regulation

All of them, who will see or hear these, saluut! do know:

In particular, we considered that it is necessary to adjust the alignment between Chapter 12 of the Environmental Management Act and the EMAS Regulation in connection with Regulation No 761/2001 from the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union of 19 March 2001 on the voluntary participation of organisations in a Community eco-management and audit scheme (EMAS) (PbEG L 114);

In this way, we, the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have been well-regarded and understood to be right and to be understood by the following:

In relation to a location registered as a location within the meaning of Article 12.3 of the Environmental Management Act As was immediately prior to the date of entry into force of this Act, the duty applicable shall remain as it applied for the period during which the site in question, as provided for in Article 17 (4) of the Treaty, applies to the Regulation No 761/2001 the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union of 19 March 2001 on the voluntary participation of organisations in a Community eco-management and audit system (PbEG L 114), remains included in the article referred to in that Article EMAS register.

This Act shall enter into force at the same time as the Article I (A) , that Regulation. If the Official Gazette, in which this Law is placed, is issued after the date referred to in the first sentence, it shall enter into force from the day following the date of issuance of the Official Gazette in which it is placed, and shall return to work until the date referred to in the first sentence.

Burdens and orders that it will be placed in the Official Gazette, and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and public servants, who so concern, will keep their hands on the precise execution.
