2 The first paragraph shall not apply where an appointment as referred to in paragraph 1 has been terminated on a date from 1 January 1998.
3 The first paragraph shall expire from the day on which a decision as referred to in Article 1b, first paragraph, of the Law National Ombudsman enters into force.
Up to a year after the termination of a designation of administrative organs of a province, municipality or watership on the basis of the Law National Ombudsman As this Act stated before the entry into force of this Act, in respect of a conduct of the relevant administrative organ that took place before the designation was terminated, a petition as referred to in Article 1 of the Article 12 to the National Ombudsman shall be submitted.
The Designation decree governing bodies Wob and WNo, the Royal Decree of 1 September 1993 designating the governing bodies of waterboards as administrative bodies within the meaning of the Law National Ombudsman (Stb. 488), as well as the Royal Decree of 10 April 1995 on the basis of the Law National Ombudsman of administrative bodies of municipalities and provinces for the conduct of Special Investigation Officers (Stb). 218) shall be repealed.

This Law shall enter into force on a date to be determined by Royal Decree.
