All of them, who will see or hear these, saluut! do know:
In this regard, we considered that it is desirable to amend the Implementing Law for rental prices in order to replace the two-sided surcharge by a one-sided surcharge and a few other amendments to that law; and in the Articles 252 and 253 of Book 7 of the Civil Code implementing technical implementing changes;
In this way, we, the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have been well-regarded and understood to be right and to be understood by the following:
1 The rental commission, referred to in Article 21 of the Implementing Law Rent Prices -shall address a request as referred to in the Article 253 of Book 7 of the Civil Code which relates to a proposal to increase the rental price as referred to in Article 252 of that book from 1 July 2006 or a later date, in application of the law applicable after the entry into force of this Law.
2 The rent committee shall, in all cases other than those referred to in the first paragraph, make a request from its application, applying it at the time of the application of its application.
This Law shall enter into force as from 1 July 2006.
Burdens and orders that it will be placed in the Official Gazette, and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and officials who so concern will keep their hands on the precise execution.
