Law of 4 June 2015 amending the Postal Law 2009 to modernise and flexibilize the universal postal service (modernisation UPD)

In this regard, we have taken into consideration that, taking into account Directive 97 /67/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 December 1997 on common rules for the development of the internal market of Community postal services and the improvement of quality of service (TEC 1998 L 15), due to the various developments in the postal market are necessary in order to modernise and flexibilise the universal postal service obligation, in order to keep the universal service accessible to all;

It is true that we, the Department of Consultative Affairs of the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have found and understand the same as We approve and understand:

After the entry into force of this law, the Article 22, third paragraph , 23, second paragraph , 25, first, second, third and sixth member , and 27 of the Postal Law 2009 based on Articles 22, third paragraph, 23, second paragraph, 25, first, fourth and fifth paragraphs, and 27, second paragraph, of the 2009 Postlaw Act, as they are after the entry into force of this Act.

The rules for the passing of costs of the Consumer and Market Authority, such as those in the Electricity Act 1998 , Gas Act , Competition law , Postal Act 2009 and Telecommunications law In the middle of 31 July 2014, they shall apply for the period from 1 August 2014 to 31 December 2014.

  • 1 The Articles I and II of this Law shall enter into force on a date to be determined by Royal Decree which may be adopted in a different way for the various articles or parts thereof, with the exception of Article I, Section 0A, which shall enter into force with effect from 1 January 2017.

  • 2 Article III of this Act shall enter into force from the day following the date of issuance of the Official Gazette, in which this Law is placed and shall operate back to 1 August 2014.

  • 3 Article IIIa of this Act shall enter into force with effect from 1 January 2015. If the Official Gazette of which this Act is placed is issued after 31 December 2014, Article IIIa of this Act shall enter into force from the day following the date of issuance of the Official Gazette, in which this Law is placed and shall work it back until 1 January 2015.

Burdens and orders that it will be placed in the Official Gazette and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and public servants who so far as to do so will keep their hands on the precise execution.
