Law of 18 April 2002 amending the Aviation Safety Act in the field of aviation

All of them, who will see or hear these, saluut! do know:
In conclusion, we considered that the implementation of international obligations, as laid down in Annex 17 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, concluded in Chicago on 7 December 1944, is necessary, but also it is desirable to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of civil aviation security with the rules on aviation security;
In this way, we, the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have been well-regarded and understood to be right and to be understood by the following:
Rules and other acts adopted pursuant to the Aviation law As it was stated on the date preceding the date of entry into force of the various parts of this Act, they shall remain in force, in so far as they are based on provisions which are not amended by this Law.
This Act enters into force on a date to be determined by Royal Decree which is applicable to the various elements of Article I may be varied.
Burdens and orders that it will be placed in the Official Gazette, and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and officials who so concern will keep their hands on the precise execution.
