In this regard, we have taken into consideration that: Directive No 2008 /48/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union of 23 April 2008 on credit agreements for consumers and repealing Directive 87 /102/EEC of the Council (PbEU L 133/66) which provides for the harmonisation of certain aspects of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of the Member States relating to consumer credit agreements, to be implemented in the Netherlands;
In this way, we, the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have been well-regarded and understood to be right and to be understood by the following:
The Articles II and III shall not apply to credit agreements concluded prior to the entry into force of those Articles.
This Law shall enter into force on 11 June 2010. If the Official Gazette, in which this Law is placed, is issued on or after 11 June 2010, it shall enter into force from the day following the date of issuance of the Official Gazette in which it is placed.
Burdens and orders that it will be placed in the Official Gazette, and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and officials who so concern will keep their hands on the precise execution.
