Law of 10 April 1997 on the extension of the Environmental Management Act (Environmental reporting)

In this regard, we considered that it is necessary, in view of the desirability of a uniform system of environmental reporting by certain categories of companies, to regulate them by law and that it is desirable to do so by law. The Environmental Environment Act to expand;
In this way, we, the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have been well-regarded and understood to be right and to be understood by the following:
An environmental report as referred to in Article 12.2, first paragraph, of the Environment for the public and for an environmental report as referred to in Article 12.4 (1) of that Law for the benefit of an administrative body shall be drawn up for the first time in respect of the 1998 reporting year. Where a provision, mentioned in the first sentence, comes into force later than 1 July 1997, the relevant environmental report shall be drawn up for the first time in respect of the 1999 reporting year.
This Law shall enter into force on a date to be determined by Royal Decree, which may be adopted in a different way for the various articles or parts of such articles.
Burdens and orders that are in the State Sheet will be placed, and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and officials who so concern will keep their hands on the precise execution.
