In this regard, we have considered that it is desirable to establish a dedicated college of advice from the State in the field of public health and society and that it is necessary to Article 79 of the Constitution and in conjunction with the Advisory colleges framework law necessary to lay down legal provisions to that end;
It is true that we, the Department of Consultative Affairs of the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have found and understand the same as We approve and understand:
1 There is a Council for Health and Society.
The Council shall consist of a chairman and a maximum of eight other members.
The Council has the task of advising the Government and the two Chambers of the States-General on the policy to be implemented in the field of public health and society in which all aspects affecting public health and the functioning of the public health policy are citizens in society are involved, paying particular attention to the role of territorial authorities and changes in the supply of care and well-being.
The Health and Health Council Law and the Law of the Council for Social Development shall be withdrawn.
This Law shall enter into force on a date to be determined by Royal Decree.
This law is cited as: Law on the Council for Public Health and Society.
Burdens and orders that it will be placed in the Official Gazette and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and public servants who so far as to do so will keep their hands on the precise execution.
