Law of 30 June 2004 amending the Competition Act and of any other acts relating to the implementation of EC Regulations (EC) Regulations (EC) No 1/2003 and (EEC) No 139/2004 (Law of Modernisation EC Competition Law)

All of them, who will see or hear these, saluut! do know:

In this regard, we have taken into consideration that it is necessary to make certain provisions of Regulation (EC) 1/2003 of the Council of the European Union of 16 December 2002 on the implementation of the rules on competition laid down in Articles 81 and 82 of the Treaty (PbEC 2003, L 1) and of the EC Treaty Regulation No 139/2004 implement by the Council of the European Union of 20 January 2004 on the control of concentrations between undertakings (PbEG L 24), by means of the adaptation of certain laws;

In this way, we, the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have been well-regarded and understood to be right and to be understood by the following:

This law is cited as: Law modernisation EC competition law.


Article V

The articles of this Law shall enter into force on a date to be determined by Royal Decree, which may be determined differently for the various articles or parts thereof and may be returned to it until 1 May 2004. That decision shall apply where appropriate to: Article 16 of the Temporary Referendum Act .

Burdens and orders that it will be placed in the Official Gazette, and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and officials who so concern will keep their hands on the precise execution.
