Law of 13 January 1949, setting up debt registers for loans from the State
We JULIANA, at the grace of God, Queen of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau, etc., etc., etc.
All of them, who will see or hear these, saluut! do know:
In this regard, we considered that it would be desirable to open up the possibility of remiting funds entered into by the State, not already in the terms of the issue, until the establishment of a loan for the debt registries, in which the debt is registered in particular to the owner;
In this way, we, the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have been well-liked and understood to be right and to be understood as being at the same time:
Our Minister of Finance is authorized to grant to the holders of debt securities of debt contracted to the State prior to the entry into force of this Act, in accordance with the rules to be settled by him, to open up their debt instruments swapping in a tender by name in a debt register held separately for each loan.
The conditions, including the debt instruments of the Article 1 provided that the loans are issued, are to be set out in the rules to be adopted by Our Minister. Article 1 , also, where applicable, linked to the tenders obtained by the exchange of those debt instruments in a debt register. By way of derogation from these terms, repayment may not be made by drawing lots, but in proportion to the redemptions by sublot on the in Article 1 These loans are to be made.
This law shall enter into force from the day following that of that harer termination.
Burdens and orders, which are in the State Sheet will be placed, and that all Ministerial Departments, Authorities, Colleges and Officials, who so concern, will keep their hands on the precise execution.
