In this regard, we considered that it would be desirable to set up a dedicated college of opinion on the broad lines of policy on the environment and infrastructure, including the simultaneous lifting of the VROM Council, the Council of Ministers for the Development of Europe and the Council for the traffic and water state and the Council for the rural area;
In this way, we, the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have been well-regarded and understood to be right and to be understood by the following:
There is a Council for the living environment and infrastructure, hereinafter referred to as the Council.
The task of the Council is to advise the Government and the two Chambers of the States-General on strategic policy issues relating to the sustainable development of the environment and infrastructure, in particular in the field of living, spatial planning, environment, climate policy, water, energy infrastructure, agriculture, nature, food (quality), transport and transport and the spatially-economic development, whether or not interrelated.

This Act shall enter into force from the day following the date of issue of the Official Gazette, in which it is placed, with the exception of Article 2, second paragraph , which will enter into force at a time to be determined by royal decree.
This law is cited as: "Council for the Environment and Infrastructure Act" or as "Act RLI".
Burdens and orders that it will be placed in the Official Gazette, and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and officials who so concern will keep their hands on the precise execution.
