In this regard, we have taken into consideration that it is desirable to Law of 14 February 1947 (Stb. H52) to replace the spelling of the Dutch language with a simpler law, which contains no more spelling rules, but in which the requirement to apply to the public authorities, in the educational institutions financed by public funds and in the examinations of the public purse For which legal provisions have been established, the spelling rules of the Dutch Language Union are directly linked to those spelling rules;
In this way, we, the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have been well-regarded and understood to be right and to be understood by the following:
For the purpose of this Act:
a. Committee of Ministers: the body referred to in Article 6 (a) of the Treaty establishing the Netherlands Language Union (Trb), established on 9 September 1980. 1980, 147);
b. Our Minister: Our Minister of Education, Culture and Science.
This law shall also apply in the public entities Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba.
1 The method of writing the Dutch language to which the Committee of Ministers decides is to be followed by the public authorities, in the educational establishments financed from the public purse, as well as in the examinations for which legal provisions are 3.
2 Under a public body referred to in paragraph 1, the following definitions shall apply:
(a) a body of a legal person established under public law; or
b. Held a different person or college with any official authority.
1 Any decision of the Committee of Ministers concerning the writing of the Dutch language shall enter into force for the purposes of this Law from the second day following the date of the Official Journal of the Official Journal in which our Minister responsible for the procedure is to be used as a Unless our Minister, for the purposes of the education and training, establishes a later date of entry into force.
2 Our Minister makes a decision as referred to in paragraph 1 forthwith in the Official Gazette.
3 If a decision referred to in the first paragraph relates to or relates to a list of words, the Minister may, by way of derogation from the second paragraph, publish that list by way of a list of the parties concerned. A terinzalegging is being communicated by our Minister forthwith in the Official Gazette.
1 At the time of entry into force of this Act, the language used in the Netherlands shall be the author of the decision by the Committee of Ministers on 21 March 1994, 24 October 1994 and 25 September 1995.
2 Article 3 shall apply mutatis mutandis to a decision of the Committee of Ministers concerning the method of writing of the Dutch language, taken after 25 September 1995 but before the date of entry into force of this Act.
The Law of 14 February 1947, laying down rules on the writing of the Dutch language (Stb. H52), is hereby repealed.
This Act shall enter into force from the day following the date of issuance of the Official Gazette in which it is placed.
This law is cited as: Spellinglaw.
Burdens and orders that it will be placed in the Official Gazette, and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and officials who so concern will keep their hands on the precise execution.
