Law of 6 February 2003, adapting certain laws relating to the entry into force of the Law on the dualisation of the municipal administration

All of them, who will see or hear these, saluut! do know:
In this regard, we have taken into consideration the fact that in connection with the entry into force of the Law for the dualisation of local authorities it is desirable to amend certain laws and to make some improvements in that law;
In this way, we, the Council of State, and with the mean consultations of the States-General, have been well-regarded and understood to be right and to be understood by the following:

On decisions of the city council that have been taken on the basis of Article 155 of the Municipal Act As stated immediately prior to the date of entry into force of Article I, part SSS, of the proposal from the Act of 23 May 2001 amending the Municipal Act and any other acts of law, as submitted by the Royal Message of 23 May 2001. dualisation of the establishment, powers and operation of the municipal administration ( Law for the dualisation of local authorities , Chamber Pieces 27 751), remains Article 8, first paragraph, introductory wording and part b of the Temporary referendum law As it was before the entry into force of this law, applicable.

2 By Royal Decree, a change of time for the entry into force of this Act may be decided upon by a local authority which does not vote for the election of the members of the Council on 6 March 2002. In so doing, the time of entry into force of the various articles or parts thereof may be determined differently.
Burdens and orders that it will be placed in the Official Gazette, and that all ministries, authorities, colleges and officials who so concern will keep their hands on the precise execution.
