Published: 04.11.2016 in Official Gazette No. 379-386 art no: 12 October 1874 In 2016, by letter of the Ministry of labour, social protection and family no. 08-1502 of 7 October 2016, the address of the electronic media watchdog CCA received for review and endorsement of the project by the Government decision "on the approval of the strategy in order to ensure equality between women and men in the Republic of Moldova for the years 2017-2021 and its action plan".
Thus, the project is forwarded for the purposes of mobilisation efforts and implementation of urgent measures needed to ensure the implementation of de facto gender equality. the proposed Strategy through objectives over the next five years reflects the global trends and implementation of international commitments of our country aimed at ensuring respect for human rights. The aim of the strategy lies in empowering women and achieving de facto equality between women and men in the Republic of Moldova. In order to achieve the strategy had settled five General objectives: ensure the complex approach to equality between women and men; strengthening the institutional mechanism to ensure equality between women and men; combating stereotypes in society and promotion of Nonviolent Communication; promotion of gender equality in the field of security and defence; integration of budgeting in a gender sensitive in the budget planning process.
In the action plan on implementation of the strategy for securing equality between women and men in the Republic of Moldova for the years 2017-2021, "Stereotypes in society and nonviolent communication," general objective No. 3: combating stereotypes in society and promoting the specific objective "and" promoting gender balance in the media and advertising ", is proposed as the audiovisual Coordinating Council to be responsible for: actions

Following the examination of the project nominated, given public debate, pursuant to the provisions of art. 39-41 of the broadcasting code no. from 260 of BCC is supervised, approved by Decision No. 433 from 28.12.2006 the Moldovan audiovisual Coordinating Council DECIDES: 1. To approve and submit to the Ministry of labour, social protection and family opinion on the draft Government decision "approving the Strategy for securing equality between women and men in the Republic of Moldova for the years 2017-2021 and its action plan" (PRO-(8)-UNANIMOUS-HAMMER, o. BARBĂLATĂ , Iu. CARLSON, a. CASTILLO, born DAMASCUS, c. MÎŢU, m. OBI-HADIRCA, and d. VALENTINI).
2. control of the execution of this decision it is engaged in the legal Directorate and Directorate-General regulations, licensing, approval and monitoring and Service Economics, finance and accounting.
3. This decision shall be published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova and in the web page of the CA.
