On 05/05/2016, the Broadcasting Coordinating Council has received notification f / No. from citizen C. Nunu, informing that broadcasters "Focus TV" and "NTV Moldova" indicates the headings "Weather" incorrect official names of localities.
Pursuant to Art. 37 para. (3) c) of the Broadcasting Code was carried out monitoring headings "Weather".
Also, in accordance with art. 38 para. (7) of the Broadcasting Code, the Broadcasting Coordinating Council, by registered letter no. 290 of 05/26/2016, monitoring reports sent to broadcasters subject to monitoring.
Monitoring results for the period 15-17.05.2016 have certified the following:
I. "NTV Moldova"
• TV channel "NTV Moldova" used in defending, as incorrect place names Balti, Orhei, Cahul and Chisinau (Бельцы, Оргеев, Кагул, Кишинёв) on 16 May (18:31:01 , 21:26:13) and 17 May (08:56:10, 18:29:08). Also on May 17, the weather section at 21:25:30 contained incorrect form a single toponym - Cahul (Кагул). Thus, the TV channel "NTV Moldova" committed exemptions from art. CCA 1 of Decision No. 38 of 03/19/2014.
By scr. no. 101-705 of 20/05/2016, PP "Exclusive Media" LLC, founder of the TV channel "NTV Moldova", said CCA that "names of settlements were corrected in accordance with Law no. 764 of 27.12.2001 on administrative-territorial organization of the Republic of Moldova ".
II. "Focus TV"
• TV channel "TV Accent 'used in defending the form incorrectly toponymical Soroca (Сороки) on 15 May (01:32:34, 08:10:15, 17:14:23 , 23:20:10); May 16 (03:59:12, 16:14:48, 20:31:35) and 17 May (01:01:20, 09:31:17, 15:31:09). Thus, the TV channel "TV Accent" committed exemptions from art. CCA 1 of Decision No. 38 of 03/19/2014.
By scr. f / No. 25 May 2016 "TELESISTEM TV" LLC, founder of the TV channel "TV Accent", said "of incorrect names of localities in weather reports on the TV channel" TV Accent "was checked and not confirmed. At the same time, "Focus TV" strictly comply with the legal provisions of the Council and the transcription rules in Russian names in Romanian ".
Following the arguments of the station "Accent TV" TV Monitoring Directorate has verified the data additionally certified and found the same violations that were included in the monitoring report.
Attending the meeting, the "Accent TV," said he agrees with the results of monitoring and that the station has complied with the provisions of Decision No CCA. 38 of 03/19/2014.
In the public meeting, ACC members warned broadcasters subject to monitoring and they have requested to strictly observe the provisions of Decision No CCA. 38 of 03/19/2014.
In accordance with the Broadcasting Code no. 260-XVI from 27.07.2006, the Statute of CCA, approved by Decision no. 433-XVI from 28.12.2006 Moldovan Parliament, and Decision No CCA. 38 of 03.19.2014, the Broadcasting Coordinating Council DECIDED
:

1. To allow notification f / No. on 05.05.2016 received from the Mr. Constantin NUNU (PRO - (9) UNANIMOUSLY - D. hammer, Barbalić O. Iu. COLESNIC, A. COZMA, N. DAMASCHIN, O. Gututui C. bribery, M. ONCEANU- Hadirca and D. VICOL).
2. Control over execution of this Decision exercised TV Monitoring Directorate.
March. This Decision will be published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova on the website of the CCA.
