The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I.-Article 14 of law No. 100-XV of 26 April 2001 on civil status documents (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2001, no. 97-99, 765), as amended, is modified and completed as follows: under paragraph (1), the words ' civil status service is subordinate to the Ministry of Justice. "is excluded;
in paragraph 2, the words "public institution" shall be replaced with the words "administrative authority subordinated to the Ministry of Justice," and in the end make up with the text: "civil status offices are territorial subdivisions of the civil status service without legal personality." in paragraph 4, the words "Civil Service" shall be replaced with the words "Minister of Justice";
(42) the words "the Director general" shall replace, in the first case, with the word "directory", and in the second case-with the word "Director";
(43) shall read as follows: "(43) structure and maximum staff of the Civil Service, including the maximum staff of civil status offices shall be established by the Government, and the State of personnel and employment scheme of the civil status service is approved by the Director.," paragraph (6) shall read as follows: "(6) In the context of the civil status service may be created by the civil status offices for the two towns several times or several offices in a town or city."
Art. II.-the Government, within a period of six months, will bring its normative acts in compliance with this law.
