Pursuant to art. 27 para. (1) lit. a) of Law no. 548-XIII of 21 July 1995 on the National Bank of Moldova (republished in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2015, no. 297-300, art.544), as amended and supplemented, and the Strategy of National Bank Monetary Policy Moldova's medium term (approved by Decision of the Board of the National Bank of Moldova no. 303 of 27 December 2012), taking into consideration the inflation report no. 3, 2016, the Executive Board of the National Bank of Moldova

DECIDES:

1. Maintain the base rate applied on the main monetary policy short-term level of 10.0 percent annually.
2. Interest rates remain:
a) overnight loans at 13.0 percent annually;
B) overnight deposits at 7.0 percent annually.
March. This decision shall enter into force upon adoption and shall be published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.
