Technical Regulation on lifts and safety components for lifts

In order to execute the provisions of article 18 and item 16 of Annex 3 to the Law 235 of 1 December 2011 on accreditation and conformity assessment (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2012 nr.46- 47, Article 136), as amended and supplemented, the Government DECIDES:
1. Approving the Technical Regulation on lifts and safety components for lifts (Attach).
2. Ministry of Economy:
will develop and approve the list of relevant standards within 6 months from the date of publication of this decision;
Bodies will recognize that performs conformity assessment of lifts and safety components for home use.
March. Requirements for conformity assessment bodies and notified bodies apply the conformity assessment recognized.
4. Before signing the Agreement between Moldova and the European Union:
1) is admitted making available on the market and putting into service of lifts and safety components for lifts, bearing the mark of conformity SM accompanied by the declaration of conformity, applied according to the provisions stipulated in Law 235 of 1 December 2011 on accreditation and conformity assessment;
2) the manufacturer or his authorized representative, legal person established in the Republic of Moldova, affix the mark of conformity SM where conformity assessment of lifts and safety components for lifts for home use shall be performed by assessment bodies compliance recognized using the procedures laid down in Chapter XIV of the technical regulation on lifts and safety components for lifts;
3) prohibits, under the terms of the Technical Regulation on lifts and safety components for lifts, applying safety component on the same mark of conformity and CE marking SM;
4) The Ministry of Economy recognize bodies carrying out conformity assessment of lifts and safety components for lifts intended for the domestic market in accordance with the procedures laid down in Chapter XIV of the Technical Regulation on lifts and safety components for lifts;
5) requirements relating to conformity assessment bodies and notified bodies apply the conformity assessment recognized. To conduct conformity assessment procedures, conformity assessment bodies recognized with the conformity assessment of lifts and safety components for elevators will draw type examination certificates;
6) comprising the list of recognized conformity assessment bodies, the specific tasks for which they have been recognized and their identification numbers are published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.
May. This decision shall enter into force 24 months after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.
June. Nr.1252 is repealed Government Decision of 10 November 2008 "On approval of the Technical Regulation" Setting conditions for placing on the market of lifts "(Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2008, nr.208-209, art.1273) entry into force of the technical regulation on lifts and safety components for lifts.
July. Control over the execution of this decision is the responsibility of the Ministry of Economy.
