with regard to the approval of the technical regulation concerning making available on the market of lighters which presents safety features for children and the prohibition of the placing on the market of lighters fantasy



Published: 05.02.2016 in Official Gazette No. 25-30 art no: 44 For enforcing the provisions of article 3 of law No. 422-XVI of 22 December 2006 concerning general safety of products (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, no. 36-38, art. 145) as subsequently amended, and in accordance with article 14(2). (3) (a). I) and (j)) of law No. 420-XVI of 22 December 2006 on technical regulation activity (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, no. 36-38, art. 141), with subsequent amendments and additions, the Government DECIDES: 1. Approving the technical regulation regarding the making available on the market of lighters which presents safety features for children and the prohibition of the placing on the market of lighters fantasy (is attached).
2. this decision shall enter into force six months after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova.
3. Column 2 of the table in annex 1 to the Decision of the Government No. 31 of 23 January 2009 "on approval of the areas covered, the regulatory authorities and bodies with functions of market surveillance" (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova, 2009, no. 16-17, art. 58), with subsequent amendments, shall be completed with the following position: "101. Lighters ".
4. Ministry of the economy, within 6 months from the date of publication, shall develop and approve the list of standards related to technical regulation regarding the making available on the market of lighters which presents safety features for children and the prohibition of the placing on the market of lighters.
5. The control over the execution of the given decision is put in charge of the Ministry of economy.
