BE IT enacted by the Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong with the advice and consent of the Dewan Negara and Dewan Rakyat in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Act fees (national Planetarium) (Confirmation) Order 1998.
Confirmation and underwriting loss 2. (1) Notwithstanding the provisions of the Act Fi 1951 [Act 209], fees and charges which have been levied and collected by the Division of space science Research, Ministry of science, technology and the environment, Malaysia in respect of any admission to any exhibition held at the Planetarium for a term beginning February 8, 1994 to January 1997, that is, days prior to the date of order fees (national Planetarium) 1997 [P.U. (A) 461/1997] effect , shall be deemed to have been imposed and collected lawfully.
(2) no action or legal proceedings may be brought, instituted or maintained against the Malaysian Government or any government officials or any person acting under it or any of them the laws of Malaysia ACT 5836 with respect to any fees and charges that have been levied and collected and if any action or proceeding of such laws was brought, instituted or maintained, it must be cancelled and void and no refund in respect of fees and charges that have been levied and collected as provided for in this Act shall be made.
