EXPOSES reasons in order to proceed with the financing of the power program in drinking water and sanitation in Rural Environment, the Republic of Madagascar concluded a loan agreement in the amount of fifty-one million units of account (UA 51 000 000) roughly CENT fifty billion two hundred sixty fifteen million five hundred four twenty thousand ARIARY (MGA 150.275.580.000) with the African Development Fund.
PURPOSE of the project the project aims to: improve the living conditions of the population through the provision of services sustainable d o ' drinking water and sanitation in rural for the objectives of the Millennium for development. improve access of the population to drinking water rates; o ensure adequate populations rural; o sanitation contribute to improve the performance of the sub sectors of the ' water o drinking and sanitation in rural areas.
COMPONENTS of the project the project includes the following main parts: capacity-building;  Rehabilitation and development of infrastructure of DWSS;  management program.  of areas implementation REGION PROVINCE Diana Antsiranana Sava Antsiranana Mahajanga Sofia Betsiboka Mahajanga Melaky Mahajanga Atsimo Andrefana Toliary Toliary Androy Anosy Toliary CONDITIONS financial amount: 51 000 000 units of account or about 150.275.580.000 MGA duration: 40 years after a grace period of 10 years. Repayment of principal: equal and consecutive semi-annual payments. Service charge: 0.75% on the amount disbursed and outstanding. Commitment fee: 0.5% on t he amount of the undisbursed loan starting one hundred twenty (120) days after the signing of the agreement.
DURATION of the project the project closing date is set on December 31, 2009.
This is the purpose of this Act.

The National Assembly and the Senate have adopted in their meeting respective dated December 21, 2005 and December 22, 2005, the law whose content follows: Article first - is authorized the ratification of the agreement of credit agreement between the Republic of Madagascar and the Fund African of development relative to the power program in drinking water and sanitation in Rural community of fifty-one million (51 000 000) units of account or about CENT FIFTY BILLION TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIFTEEN MILLION FIVE HUNDRED FOUR TWENTY THOUSAND (150.275.580.000).
