No 11 21) rules for the 2009/2010 school year and term start and end time are Issued in accordance with the General Education Act, article 4, paragraph 1, rule 16 determine the 2009/2010 school year and term start and end time, those general educational institutions that implement the general primary education and general secondary education programs. 2. the school year starts on 1 September 2009. 3.1-8. classes and class 10-11 learners school year ends 31 May 2010. 9. class 4 learners learning ends 21 May 2010, but the school year ends June 11, 2010. 5.12. class learners learning ends 21 May 2010, but the school year ends June 18, 2010. 6. the school year consists of two semesters: the first semester 6.1 lasts from 1 September 2009 until 22 December 2009;
6.2. the second semester lasts: 6.2.1.1.-8. classes and 10-11 class learners, from 6 January 2010 to 31 May 2010;
6.2.2.9. class learners, from 6 January 2010 until 11 June 2010;
6.2.3. for class 12 students – from 6 January 2010 until 18 June 2010. 7. in the academic year following holidays learners: 7.1.-autumn holiday from 26 October 2009 until 30th October 2009;
7.2. The Christmas holidays from 23 December 2009 to 5 January 2010;
7.3. spring break – from 2010 on 29 March to 5 April 2010;
7.4. summer vacation 1-8. classes and class 10-11 learners-from 1 June 2010 until 31 august 2010. 8. the education authority alone shall decide on one week additional holidays class 1 learners. Additional holiday organised by second semester. 9. Education Authority alone shall decide on the project for the duration of the week. Project weeks organized in the second semester. 10. If during the school year there was extreme situations which cannot be foreseen and which sustained (at least one week) it is not possible to ensure the learning process according to the law, educational institutions founder of the particular circumstances of an emergency assessment is entitled to take a decision on the extension of the school year 1-8. classes and 10-11 grade learners.
