The purpose of the activity is Riga suburban railway passenger transport system modernization and integration of the city public transport system, passenger transport quality and efficiency in Riga and outside Riga, the introduction of new technologies, the upgrading of rolling stock (including restoring the electric powered and diesel powered rolling stock – by purchasing new trains) and infrastructure, thus unloading the Riga Street networks and bridges, while reducing the environmental pollution caused by road transport and the risk of environmental contamination that may occur as a result of the accident. 3. the activity exercised limited project application selection. 4. the overall activity of the cohesion fund available funding is $100 079 289. 7.3. the value added tax, where the applicant cannot recover it according to the regulations of the tax policy. 12. non-eligible costs of the project are the following: 12.1. costs that exceed the approved project submission, the proposed amount of the eligible cost;
12.2. costs not justified by appropriate justification documentation;
12.3. other project indivisible costs. 13. project expenditure may include only those rules 11 and 12 above. Project expenditure does not include administrative costs. 14. the implementation of the project of non-eligible costs shall be borne by the beneficiaries of their funds. IV.
