Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 1010 Riga 2009 (8 September. No 56) 32 amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers on 16 November 2004, regulations No. 936 "tourism development in national regulations" issued by the Agency in accordance with the public agency law article 8 the third paragraph to make the Cabinet on 16 November 2004, regulations No. 936 "tourism development agency's rules" (Latvian journal, 2004, nr. 185; 2008, no. 18) the following amendments: 1. Replace the words in paragraph 3.2 "tourist publicity and public relations events as well as measures to promote tourism products "with the words" tourism promotion measures ".
2. Supplement with 3.5 and 3.6 of the subparagraph as follows: "3.5. perform quality management implementation of the tourism industry, as well as the Latvian tourism and its related service provider and merchant compliance monitoring tēšan;
3.6. to participate in transnational cooperation in the implementation of the agreement in the area of tourism. "
3. Replace the words "in paragraph 4.7. service provider business (company) database and the Latvian Tourism Portal on the internet" with the words "information system".
4. To supplement the provisions of this chapter IV1: IV1. " 14.1 the Agency's Advisory Council to ensure that government institutions and individuals involved in tourism policy of Latvia as a tourist destination in the making and promotion of economic Minister creates Advisory Board. Working facilities Advisory Board provides the Agency.
14.2 the Board operates in accordance with the regulations approved by the Minister of the economy.
14.3 the Board performs the following tasks: 1. analyse the 14.3 agency performance and provide the Economic Minister's opinions and proposals on the Agency's medium-term operational and marketing strategy, annual plan implementation and development of the activities of the Agency;
2. evaluate and provide 14.3 proposals planned by the Agency and used for funding;
14.3 3. encourage cooperation with the Agency's medium-term operational and development in the implementation of the participating institutions and organizations. "
