Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 1114 in Riga 2009 September 29 (pr. No 63 22. §) rules on the animal cemetery installation, registration, maintenance, dissolution and liquidation procedures and the methodology for the determination of the cordon around the animal cemetery issued in accordance with article 25 of the law on veterinary medicine 3 and 11 and article 59 of the law establishes the first part i. General questions 1. determines: 1.1. animal graveyard placement, registration, maintenance and termination of animal cemeteries and disposal procedures;

II. 5.3 regional environmental management technical regulations issued by the original environmental impact assessment, if the proposed action in accordance with the law "on environmental impact assessment" does not require an environmental impact assessment. 6. animal cemetery equipment in accordance with the municipal development program and territory planning. 7. animal cemetery creates a territory which comply with the following requirements: 7.1 not applūstoš area;
7.2. the groundwater levels in the area is less than two metres of topsoil;
7.3. the territory does not cross rivers and streams;

10.1.2. the municipalities – name and legal address;
10.1.3. associations and foundations – the name, registration number and registered office;
10.1.4. the natural persons-name and surname, person code, declared place of residence address;
10.1.5. phone and fax numbers, electronic mail address;
10.2 the animal cemetery name (if any) and the animal cemetery location address;
10.3. the request to issue a certificate of registration of animal Cemetery (there can-card), if the animal cemetery possessor wants to receive it. 11. Service within 10 working days after this provision referred to in paragraph 10 of document submission and receipt of the copy of the animal cemetery assign a registration number, added to the national register of veterinary supervision facilities and give written notice to the holder of the cemetery for animals animal cemetery. Notice of registration of animal cemetery indicates that provision of the information referred to in paragraph 12. 12. animal cemetery possessor has the right to receive the certificate within the territorial departments of the service after notification of the animal cemetery registration receipt, if the possessor of animal cemeteries have have expressed a desire to receive it in accordance with the provisions of section 10.3. IV. Animal cemetery maintenance 16. obligations of possessor of animal cemetery: 16.1. create pit and the carcases of the trench;

16.6. to ensure that the outside of the working time of the cemetery gate should be locked;
16.7. to maintain order in the animal cemetery protection zone;
16.8. overwhelm animal corpses with ground round, if the blow holes and trenches filled up gradually;
16.9. to create animal cemetery land-use diagram indicates the animal corpses or their burial places of ash;
16.10. to create records containing information about the person who brought the animal's body to the cemetery of the animal (name, address), the animal's body, or the date of receipt of the ash species, number and weight (in kilograms), the date and burial place of burial;
16.11 store or animal's body transportation of ashes of the photovoltaic pavaddok (annex 2) for at least two years. 17. The provisions referred to in subparagraph 3.1 animal cemetery: 17.1. animal cemetery possessor building individual or common animal corpses, pit or trench;
17.2. the Earth turn over the animal's body is at least a meter;
10.7. any person animal cemeteries working time allowed to stay on the animal cemetery and visit animal burial sites. 18. The provisions referred to in subparagraph 3.2 animal cemetery: 18.1. carcases after processing with the disinfectant in the trench type copy buried in the pit;
18.2. burying the body of the animal above the pit, the body of the animal shall ensure at least a metre thick layer of the Earth;
18.3. the animal cemetery possessor shall ensure that unauthorised persons and animals to enter the cemetery. 19. animal's body or ashes to the cemetery the animal be transferred together with the 16.11 these provisions referred to in the document accompanying transport. 20. The soil or soils from animal cemetery use outside its territory. 21. the possessor of animal cemetery may determine the fees for the provision of services. V. animal cemetery and termination of winding up 22. animal cemetery possessor 10 working days prior to the termination of the cemetery in writing inform the authorities concerned. 23. The municipality of animals in its territory of a cemetery shall inform the termination: 23.1.;
23.2. the relevant regional environmental governance;

23.3. the territorial departments of the service. 24. After the termination of the animal cemetery cemetery possessor of animal laws about archives established animal cemetery records transferred to the archives. 25. the animal cemetery, where activity has ended, maintaining the land owner or legal possessor according to chapter IV of these regulations. 26. animal cemetery, except that rule 27 of the animals referred to in point cemetery, eliminates the land owner or legal possessor no earlier than 25 years after the last animal corpse pits or backfill of the trench, before making the soil microbiological studies on anaerobic pathogenic microflora. 27. animal cemetery, where are buried the anthrax in animals, died, and its territory is restricted economic activity.
