Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 983 Riga 2010 October 19 (Mon. No 54 11. §) rules on the packaging recovery percentages (specific gravity) and deadlines for registration and reporting procedures and sample forms, requirements for the company to be registered as the operator of packaging, the packaging of application definition criteria and exceptions concerning the heavy metal content in the package Issued in accordance with the law of the Pack 1.1 the third paragraph of article, article 7, the second paragraph of article 13 and article 15 second the third and fifth 1. determines: 1.1. all packaging and various types of packaging recovery (including recycling), percentage (percentage) and deadlines;
1.2. the calendar year the amount of packaging waste generated, which Packer has the obligation to register, Ministry of the environment authorized institution;

2. The packaging and packaging materials, the minimum percentage of recovery (share), as well as the dates by which certain amount recoverable in this provision are listed in annex 1.

23. Heavy metal concentrations in plastic pallets and crates must not exceed 100 ppm (parts per million by weight), that is, up to 100 milligrams per kilogram, except if they are produced under controlled conditions in a recycling process, at least 80% of the other plastic pallets and boxes containing heavy metals. 27.4. the measures taken to reduce the heavy metal content;
