Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 121 in 2011 (15 February. 10. § 16) rules for the 2011/2012 school year and term start and end time are Issued in accordance with the General Education Act, article 4, paragraph 1, rule 16 down the 2011/2012 school year. and the term start and end time, those general educational institutions that implement the general primary education and general secondary education programs.
2. the school year starts on September 1, 2011.
3.1-8. classes and 10-11 grade learners of the school year ends may 31, 2012.
9. class 4 learners learning ends 18 may 2012, but the school year ends June 15, 2012.
5.12. class learners learning ends 18 may 2012, but the school year ends June 22, 2012.
6. the school year consists of two semesters: the first semester 6.1 lasts from 1 September 2011 to 23rd December 2011;
6.2. the second semester lasts: 6.2.1.  1.-8. classes and 10-11 learners – class of 2012 9. January to 31 May 2012;
6.2.2.9. learners – class of 2012 9. January to 15 June 2012;
6.2.3.12. learners – class of 2012 9 January and 22 June 2012.
7. in the academic year following holidays learners: 7.1.-from the autumn holidays 2011 24 October to 28 October 2011;
7.2. the winter holidays – from 27 December 2011 to 2012 6 January;
7.3. spring break – from 2012 12. March to 16 March 2012;
7.4. summer vacation 1-8. classes and 10-11 learners – class of 2012 June 1 to august 31, 2012.
8. the education authority alone shall decide on one week additional holidays class 1 learners. Additional holiday organised by second semester.
9. Education Authority alone shall decide on the project for the duration of the week. Project weeks organized in the second semester.
10. If during the school year there was extreme situations which cannot be foreseen and which circumstances caused lasting (at least one week) it is not possible to ensure the learning process according to the requirements of the law, educational institutions founder of the specific assessment of the circumstances of the emergency, is entitled to take a decision on the extension of the school year 1-8. classes and 10-11 grade learners.
