Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 547 in Riga, July 5, 2011 (pr. No 41 62) for dairy cows and goats for milk varieties monitoring procedure issued in accordance with the breeding and animal breeding law 12 the first paragraph of article i. General questions 1. determines the number of dairy cows (cows) and varieties of goats milk (goat) monitoring arrangements.

II. Control data acquisition procedure 9. Period between stocking is from 22 to 37 control days (herd) and from 28 to 34 days (goat herd) (hereinafter referred to as the starpkontroļ period). The flock shall be carried out no less than 11 times during the year of monitoring.

19. 52.2.3. the protein content of the milk cows are: 52.2.3.1.1%, minimum-maximum, 7% (if the standard protein content in milk is more than 5%, the minimum protein content in milk is 1%, maximum-9%);
  52.2.3.2. minimum – 1% goat, maximum – 7%;
52.2.4. If the control scores in at least one of the ingredients (milk yield, fat content, protein content) does not meet this provision, 52.2.2 52.2.1. or in 52.2.3 these requirements, it will be considered invalid and is not used in the calculation of productivity;
52.2.5. lactation is normal, if it lasts for at least 240 days. Cow and goat standartražīb, calculated on the basis of the production figures up to three hundred fifth day including;

54. the evaluation of bovine exterior data accounting data center: 54.1. subject to law requirements concerning data protection, ensures expert authorized access to the data in the database;

56.5. If necessary, repeat the milk sample taken within three days after the herd monitoring to determine the content of milk and milk quantity.
  57. Data Center: 57.1. until you arrange the monitoring work of the herd, stop monitoring data registration or revoke the monitoring data and suspend their registration, if the data have not been obtained in accordance with the requirements of this regulation;
57.2. Requests the herd owner for an explanation, if calculated under the supervision of the common herd, the quantity of milk for a specified period of more than 30% different from the data center to the milk quota register reported quota volume commitments.

VIII. Monitoring, and expert flock owner rights and obligations 58. Monitor is right: 58.1. check milk sampling and determination of the quantity of milk, if the herd monitoring carried out in accordance with this rule 7.3. method referred to;
58.2. checking the monitoring equipment used in livestock;
58.3. request that the owner of the herd provides oversight for the work of the necessary conditions.
59. the supervisor is obliged: to respect the monitoring 59.1. the conditions and the deadline to provide accurate information;
59.2. submit the food and Veterinary Office report on irregularities in the herd.
60. the experts shall have the right to: 60.1. Getting Data Center Web site information about those herds of cows, which are to carry out the exterior evaluation;
60.2. include database and receive only the data relating to his activities;
60.3. to inform the owner of the herd of cows or goats without compliance with the exterior evaluation conditions.
61. the experts shall have the obligation to respect the conditions and the evaluation, the exterior set deadline to provide the information.
62. The herd owner has the right to: request from 62.1. monitors the repeated sampling and the analysis of the transmission, if data reliability is questionable;
62.2. get tutorials oversees matters related to monitoring;
38.7. to receive from the data center information on the monitoring results.
63. The herd owner must: submit the food and 39.2. the health service report on irregularities in the work of monitoring;
39.3. bovine and goat not to hinder the work of the virspārraudzīb and monitoring controls;
63.3. agree with monitors on the cow's milk dzīvmas, rendering speed and temperament evaluation of herd (if it does not do the same herd owner);
63.4. to fulfil the monitor's instructions regarding milk sampling and determination of the quantity of milk, if the herd monitoring carried out in accordance with this rule 7.3. method referred to;

63.6. promptly provide the information required for monitoring, data center and a food and veterinary service;
