Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 13 in 2012 (3 January. 1. § 36) natural barring "Venta and Šķerveļ Valley" personal protection and terms of use are Issued in accordance with the law "on especially protected natural territories" of the second subparagraph of article 14 and article 17, second paragraph i. General questions 1. determines: 1.1. natural barring "Venta and Šķerveļ Valley" (hereinafter referred to as the nature reserve) and the use of protection; 1.2. name of barring natural nature-special information mark, its creation and use. 2. Natural restricted area established to protect Latvia and the European Union especially protected habitats and species (including the hillsides and gullies forests, cliffs, river sediment, straujtec Meadow), as well as natural and landscape heritage protection and promote the sustainable management of the territory. 3. Natural restricted area in the following functional areas: 3.1 natural barring area; 3.2. the neutral zone. 4. denial of nature area is 1459 hectares. Functional area of natural protection scheme are laid down in annex 1 of these provisions, functional area within the description in annex 2 of these rules. 5. the nature of the natural boundary of the restricted area in the stands with a special informative sign, a model of which, and the procedures for using these provisions set out in annex 3. 6. the nature protection authority specifies a restricted availability status information about the protected area the existing specially protected species Habitat, and specially protected habitat location if its disclosure could harm the environment. The following information shall be distributed only to the nature protection management written permission. 7. the nature protection authority by issuing a written authorisation following these rules, use the nature protection plan information and the latest information available concerning specially protected species and habitats. Nature protection management authorization is required in paragraph 10 of these regulations and section 12.16.12.15.2. and operations in which, under the laws and regulations on environmental impact assessment in national environmental service shall issue technical rules or carry out an environmental impact assessment. II. III. the Nature of the restriction zone

11. Natural restricted area established to ensure protection of specially protected hillsides and gullies with forest, outcrops of sedimentary, River straujtec, meadows and other specially protected habitats and species, as well as the promotion of natural and cultural landscape preservation. 12. Prohibition does not apply to underground water extraction for personal use; 12.14. to undertake activities that contribute to the development of the soil erosion. Prohibition does not apply to soil preparation agricultural needs; 12.15. to change land use category. Prohibition does not apply to: 12.15.1. natural apmežojuš or agricultural land use change in the category on the category "forest" or "Bush"; 12.15.2. with nature protection management written permission: 12.15.2.1. specially protected habitat, and specially protected species habitat restoration; 12.15.2.2. public cognition of nature tourism and infrastructure construction; 12.15.2.3. Road, utilities and other civil engineering works of restoration and reconstruction, if you change the width and position of the track; 12.16. to build waterworks construction and installation of the drainage system, make the reconstruction and renovation, except, if necessary, to prevent the flooding of the territory outside the protected areas, and where nature protection received government permission in writing: 12.16.1. river flow in natural watercourses and water bodies adjacent to the hydrological regime; 12.16.2. specially protected habitat, and specially protected species habitat restoration measures. 12.17. installation of farm animals-limited area of wild species held in captivity, as well as a fenced-in area of the wild species for holding in captivity; 12.18. to cut the trees, which will average 1.3 metres above the tree roots neck of more than 60 centimeters. Prohibition does not apply to dangerous trees (trees that threaten the lives and health of people nearby buildings or infrastructure). 13. land unit division only if each individual land unit after cutting area shall not be less than 10 hectares.
