Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 259 in 2012 (April 10. No. 19 33) rules for the 2012/2013 school year and term start and end time are Issued in accordance with the General Education Act, article 4, paragraph 1, rule 16 in 2012/2013 determines the academic and teaching semester start and end time, those general educational institutions that implement the general primary education and general secondary education programs. 2. the school year starts on September 3, 2012. 3.1-8. classes and class 10-11 learners school year ends 31 May 2013. 9. class 4 learners learning ends 17 may 2013, but the school year ends June 14, 2013. 5.12. class learners learning ends 17 may 2013, but the school year ends June 21, 2013. 6. the school year consists of two semesters: the first semester 6.1 runs from September 3, 2012 to December 21, 2012; 6.2. the second semester lasts: 6.2.1.  1.-8. classes and class 10-11 learners – from 7 January 2013 to 31 May 2013; 6.2.2.9. learners – class of 2013 7 January to 14 June 2013; 6.2.3.12. learners – class of 2013 7 January to 21 June 2013. 7. in the academic year following holidays learners: 7.1.-from the autumn holidays 2012 29 October to 2 November 2012; 7.2. the winter holidays, from 24 December 2012 for the period 2007-2013 on 4 January; 7.3. spring break – from 22 March 2013 to 28 March 2013; 7.4. summer vacation 1-8. classes and 10-11 learners – class of 2013 3 June to 30 august 2013. 8. the education authority alone shall decide on one week additional holidays class 1 learners. Additional holiday organised by second semester. 9. Education Authority alone shall decide on the project for the duration of the week. Project weeks organized in the second semester. 10. If during the school year there was extreme situations which cannot be foreseen and which circumstances caused lasting (at least one week) it is not possible to ensure the learning process according to the requirements of the law, educational institutions founder of the specific assessment of the circumstances of the emergency, is entitled to take a decision on the extension of the school year 1-8. classes and 10-11 grade learners.
