Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 288 in 2013 (28 May. No 32) physical fitness requirements of the Ministry of the Interior system and the prisons administration officials with special ranks are Issued in accordance with the system of the Ministry of the Interior and of the institutions of the prison administration with a special service officer grade in the course of the Service Act article 4, point 2 is rule 1 determine the physical fitness requirements of the Ministry of the Interior system and the prisons administration officials with special ranks (officers). 2. Physical fitness requirements established according to gender, age of the officials and post: men: 2.1 2.1.1.29 years and younger-age group V – 1; 2.1.2. from 30 to 35 years age group V – 2; 2.1.3. from 36 to 40 years age group V – 3; 2.1.4. of the 41 to 45 years age group V-4; 2.1.5.46 years and older-age group V – 5; 2.2. women: 2.2.1.23 years and later-age group S-1; 2.2.2. from 24 to 29 years age group S-2; 2.2.3. from 30 to 35 years age group S-3; 2.2.4. from 36 to 40 years age group S-4; 2.2.5. of the 41 to 45 years age group S-5; 2.2.6.46 years and older-age group S-6; 2.3. position groups: 2.3.1.  I post – officer in the performance of such duties, for which the everyday increased physical load, force techniques, the ability to respond quickly in extreme situations or activities in different circumstances; 2.3.2. the position II – officer in the performance of such duties that do not require daily increased physical load or force the use of the techniques, but require excellent physical fitness and ability to respond quickly in extreme situations; 2.3.3. the position group III – officer in the performance of such duties, which are not associated with increased physical load or force the use of the techniques, but which requires a good physical fitness. 3. Evaluating the performance of the duties of the service of authority, the Manager determines the position group to be included in a specific position. 4. Physical fitness examination organised by the following disciplines: 4.1 men (age-group g-1, g-2 and g-3) in the 100 meters race or 10 x 10 metre race, shuttles attraction at bars or – if the weight exceeds 90 kg – hand bending and straightening of the reclining headrest, upper body lifting and lowering, 3000-meter cross-country; 4.2. men (age-group V-4) 100 meters race or 10 x 10 metre race, shuttles attraction at bars or – if the weight exceeds 90 kg – hand bending and straightening of the reclining headrest, upper body lifting and lowering, 1000-meter cross-country; 4.3. men (age-group V-5) pull on the rod, or – if the weight exceeds 90 kg – hand bending and straightening of the reclining headrest, upper body lifting and lowering, 1000-meter cross-country; 4.4 women (age group S-1 and S-2) 100 meters race or 10 x 10 metre race shuttles, bending and straightening of the arm in support sleeping, upper body lifting and lowering, 1000-meter cross-country; 4.5. the women (age group S-3 and S-4) 100 meters race or 10 x 10 metre race shuttles, bending and straightening of the arm in support sleeping, upper body lifting and lowering, 500-meter cross-country; 4.6. the women (age group S-5 and S-6) bending and straightening of the arm support in the back, upper body lifting and lowering, 500-meter cross-country. 5. for each outstanding physical fitness examination discipline according to the result is assigned in the table (annex) the specified number of points (from 1 to 10 points). 6. the physical fitness test has been successfully settled when officials received at least one point in each of the physical fitness test discipline and total score: 6.1. age group g-1, g-2, g-3, g-4, S-1, S-2, S-3 and S-4 is: 6.1.1.20 and more I post; 6.1.2.16 and over in the position group II; 6.1.3.12 and more (iii) posts; 6.2. the age group V-5, S-5 and S-6 is: 6.2.1.16 and more I post; 6.2.2.12 and more position group II; 6.2.3.8 and more (iii) posts in the group. 7. Be declared unenforceable in the Cabinet of Ministers of 21 November 2006, Regulation No 969 "physical fitness requirements of the Ministry of the Interior system and the prisons administration officials with special ranks" (Latvian journal, 2006, no. 194; 2009, 97. nr.).
