The Republic of Latvia Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 11 in Riga 2000 (January 7. Nr. 2, § 7) amendments to the Education Act of the Republic of Latvia Issued the constitutional order of article 81 to make the Education Act (the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1998, nr. 24; 1999, 17, no. 24) the following amendments: 1. in article 14 (2): turn off;
make paragraph 6 by the following: "6) approved by the College (except University College) regulations and the University (excluding universities) constitutional;";
Supplement 7. point after the words "national education authorities" with the words "and public education support institutions";
turn off paragraph 11, the words "education to be implemented".
2. in article 15: to express the introductory paragraph as follows: "the Ministry of education and Science:";
turn off paragraph 19, the word "establish";
turn off 20.
3. in article 16: make point 2 as follows: "2) defines the content of professional training subjects, develop professional teaching or course programs and standards and the supervision of compliance with them in their hands to the existing educational institutions;"
3. turn off the point.
4. Replace article 17, paragraph 1, third paragraph, the word "school" with the words "educational institutions".
5. Express article 24, first paragraph as follows: "(1) any educational institution a month from its founding days, submit an application for the registration of an educational institution in the register of educational institutions. Educational institutions registered in the Ministry of education and science. "
6. Article 33: express the introductory part of the first subparagraph by the following: "(1) the educational program is an educational institution of education governing document, which according to the degree of education, training, target group and national education standard is:";
make the first part of paragraph 5 by the following: "5) education programs needed to implement the personnel, financial and material resources, assessment according to the Cabinet of Ministers regulations on the financing of education programs."
7. Replace article 48, first paragraph, the words "Ministry of education and science" with the words "Cabinet".
8. Replace article 49, fourth paragraph, the words "improving of vocational training" with the words "professional development".
9. To make article 50 paragraph 3 by the following: "3) State and local government education institutions established – a person who is not a cabinet order issued a document certifying the State language skills at the highest level, with the exception of University academic staff — another country nationals and stateless persons who participate in specific educational programmes on international contracts, as well as foreign-founded educational institutions or their branches of the staff workers;".
10. Express article 51, second subparagraph by the following: "(2) the staff of the educational institutions are responsible for their own work, so the methods, techniques and results."
11. Turn off the paragraph 2 of article 52, the words "cabinet order".
