Nr. 10, § 24) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers on 19 October 1999, the Regulation No 355 "plant quarantine regulations" Issued under the plant protection act article 5, paragraph 1, and article 14, the seventh paragraph to make the Cabinet of 19 October 1999, the Regulation No 355 "plant quarantine rules" (Latvian journal, 1999, 348./350.nr.; 2000, 259-261.; 424./425.nr.; in 2001, 77 no) the following amendments: 1. Replace throughout the text, the words "sanitary border inspection" (fold) with the words "food and veterinary service of sanitary border inspection" (fold).
2. Supplement with 10.1 points as follows: "10.1 the registered person each year up to April 1 submitted to the national plant protection services of the following information: 1. information 10.1 of the activities carried out by the registered person for plant-health control subject to plants or plant products (production, trade, export or import), specifying the particular plant species;
10.1. If a registered person in 2 plants grown, in addition to the information specified in the plant growing areas and the planned plant quantity (number). "
3. Delete paragraph 14, the words "and permission for importation of quarantine".
4. Delete the 16, 17 and 18.
5. To complement the chapter III with 41.1, 41.2, 41.3, 25.8 25.8 25.9 25.7, 26.0,,,,,,, 41.12 26.0 41.10 41.11, 41.13, 41.14, 41.15, 41.16, 41.17, 41.18 41.19 points and by the following: "25.5 To plants, plant products and contact objects firms (annex 1) distributed in Latvia, has not required the plant passport.

the registered person shall bear all 26.0 expenses related to the national plant protection service inspections.

If a registered person 41.15 received lot subdivided into several or more parties combined, each batch adds the individual plant Passport replaces the original plant passport issued. This Passport is issued to those provisions in accordance with the procedure laid down in paragraph 25.8.
replacement of a plant Passport 41.16 Passport includes: 41.16 1. This provision of the information referred to in paragraph 41.11;
41.16 2. symbol "RP", which refers to the original plant passports issued by the Publisher's registration number.
41.17 41.17 registered party: 1. the plant passports issued by the round of counting journal. In this journal indicates each batch assigned sequential number, its component plants and plant products, the quantities and species;
2. keep with 41.17 plant and plant product production, distribution or importation of related documentation, the national plant protection services of the Inspector and the inspection of plant passports. These documents are stored in a year.
If the national plant protection 41.18 service during the test establishes that non-compliance with the phytosanitary requirements of the plant passport shall not be issued.
41.19 after the plant Passport If the issuing State plant protection service detects a plant, plant product and the associated items in non-compliance with the phytosanitary requirements of the plant passport or non-compliance with the requirements laid down in these provisions, the State plant protection service of the relevant plants, plant products and contact with them came the distribution of prohibited items to the prevention of abuse and retire the plant passport issued.
