Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 91 in Riga 2003 25 February (pr. 11 § 2) rules on vine propagating material Issued under the plant protection act, article 5 (3) (I). General questions 1. determine vine grown in Latvia (Vitis l.) propagating material (material) eligibility criteria and circulation requirements. 2. the provisions do not apply to material intended: 2.1. use consumer personal use;

5.2.4. nursery cuttings: pieces of vine shoot for the production of rooted cuttings. 6. the material has the following categories: 6.1. etalonaug;
6.2. the base material;
6.3. the certified material;
6.4. standard material. 7. the material meets the following requirements: 7.1 the material is vīrusbrīv: 7.1.1 and recognized on the dispute, free from viruses or virus-like organisms, and is held in conditions which do not have the possibility of being infected with viruses or virus-like organisms;
7.1.2. obtained by vegetative way replicates a certain generation vīrusbrīv;
7.2. the material is vīrustestēt: 7.2.1. tested and found free from these rules in annex 1 and of the harmful organisms listed in part A of annex 2 mentioned viruses or virus-like organisms, as well as being held in circumstances where it is not possible to become infected with viruses;
7.2.2. obtained by vegetative way replicates a certain generation vīrustestēt material. 8. Etalonaug: 8.1 variety identity and characteristics according to the pomoloģisk plants;
8.2. test plants that are not found in these rules 1. harmful organisms referred to in the annex to these provisions, annex 2, part A of viruses or virus-like organisms and their vectors, as well as part B of annex 2 harmful organisms referred to in, or get better plants;

14.2. for the production of grapes or for the production of planting stock;
14.3. meet the standard requirements. III. Production of Tumor material 15, comply with the following requirements: 15.1. ensure that the soil in which the base will be grown or certified material is not infected with plant quarantine and other harmful organisms or disease vectors (in particular nematodes which carry virus induced diseases) and viruses;

15.3.2. producing grape and fruit gardens or near them. 16. the growing etalonaug, provide the necessary conditions to avoid recontamination with pathogenic agents that spread through the air or soil, and comply with the following requirements: the raw materials grown 16.1. plant pots in the House;
16.2. Potties, plastic canvas or carpet-like material to prevent root contact with other soil;
16.3. plant House covered with a network (the maximum mesh size of 1 mm), which prevents insects;
16.4. the plant home flooring is of gravel, crushed rock, concrete or similar material;

15.4. packaging material, storage and transport. 25. The registered person shall book farm equipment, stating: 25.1. information about breeding material: 25.1.1. material species and variety;
25.1.2. exhibited material quantity and quality;
25.1.3. the breeding area of the material;
25.1.4. apkarojam name of the harmful organism, the use of plant protection products in commercial and chemical name, concentration, date of use;
25.2. the information on the movement of material: material purchased 25.2.1. species, variety and quantity, origin, or label a plant passport number;
25.2.2. realized material species, variety and quantity;
25.2.3. label issued the number and batch number;
25.2.4. plant passport numbers and number;

25.3. information on the composition of the lot and lots of individual components or, if the origin of different origins or of different material batch packing or storage are discarded or put together. 26. The registered person who deals only with material, equipment, material circulation journal, stating that rule 25.2. information referred to in point. 27. If the deficiencies are not eliminated, the Department may adopt a reasoned decision not to issue the certificate of propagating material and label or prohibit the distribution of the material. 32. Expenditure relating to the material inspection, shall be borne by the registered person. V. dissemination of material mined or 33.
