Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 218 in 2003 Riga April 29 (pr. No 23, § 1) rules on the system of the Ministry of the Interior staff with special ranks pay Issued in accordance with the law "on police" article 26, second paragraph, of the law on fire control and fire the third subparagraph of article 29, first paragraph of article 45 and article 42 of the Act border in the first part of rule 1 defines the system of the Ministry of the Interior staff with special ranks, national fire and rescue service in servicemen of specialized civil servants , the border guard, the police officers (hereinafter employees) — pay (monthly salary, allowances and bonus).

4.4. additional work (work, absent or vacant posts of duty in addition to direct job) — up to 50% of the monthly base salary. The premium for employee absenteeism or vacant posts of duty must not exceed the employee's absenteeism or vacant posts monthly base salary;
4.5. one of the provisions listed in annex 5 of the premium.
5. The employee on official duties in conjunction with the service dog, in addition to one of the provisions referred to in annex 5, premiums can determine the premium on the duties of the service with the service dog.
6. If an employee has a fixed shift work, he shall receive remuneration in accordance with the monthly salary or hourly salary rate on the work during the rest of the week or holidays.
