Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 382 Riga 2004 (April 22. No 24, § 16) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers of 18 June 2002, the Regulation No 234 "rules on transportable pressure equipment directive for" issued in accordance with the law "on conformity assessment" article 7 1. make Cabinet June 18, 2002 regulations No. 234 of the rules on the "pressure equipment directive" to be transported (Latvian journal, 2002, 94 no; 2003, 150. no) the following amendments: 1. replace the text, the words "authorized institution" (fold) with the words "notified body" (fold);
1.2. make paragraph 6 by the following: "6. the conformity of the pressure equipment Transported these rules evaluate accredited conformity assessment bodies (notified body) for which accreditation published notices in the newspaper" Latvian journal ".";
1.3. make 7. the introductory paragraph by the following: "7. The notified body shall meet the following minimum requirements:";

The notified body, which is in a company (the company), who designed, built, serviced or used in pressure equipment transported for transport is empowered to assess pressure equipment concerned to be transported, if the institution provides that the rules set out in section 7 requirements and meet the following criteria:";
1.7. to express such paragraph 11: "11." the Ministry of economy in cooperation with the relevant technical standards Committee recommends limited liability company "Latvian standards" Adaptive standards of the European Union. ";
1.8. the deletion of paragraph 12, the words "non-profit organization";
1.9. to supplement the rules by 165.1 165.2 and 165.3 points, as follows: "165.1 market surveillance authorities shall take the following measures: 1. where 165.1 suspect transported pressure equipment conformity with the essential requirements or the requirements of the applicable standard, the standard use of the correctness or adequacy standards, organizing, pressure equipment and transported in accordance with the inspection bodies accredited by the results, drawing up an opinion on the conformity of the transportable pressure equipment with the essential requirements;
2. report to the economic 165.1 Ministry for improper detection of pressure equipment and transported the Administration measures, if the occurrences found, which can be regarded as systematic observation of the pressure equipment to be transported to the errors in the design, construction or manufacturing. 165.3 in Latvia recognises the pressure equipment to be transported under the inter-State agreements concluded and arrangements recognised by the European Union and European economic area countries. "
