Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 608 in Riga 20 July 2004 (pr. 5.2. the official fuel consumption value, expressed in litres per 100 kilometres (1/100 km) and/or kilometres per litre (km/l) with an accuracy of one decimal place;
5.3. the CO2 exhaust officially defined numeric size expressed in grams per kilometre (g/km) rounded to an integer;
5.4. instructions: 5.4.1. "a guide on fuel economy and CO2 emissions (print or copy), which contains data for all new passenger car models is available free of charge in all car markets, the consumer rights protection centre and the road safety Directorate";

8.2.3. the CO2 exhaust officially defined numeric size expressed in grams per kilometre (g/km) rounded to an integer;
8.3. ten fuel economy effective cars models ranked in ascending order according to the specific CO2 exhaust numeric size. The list shall indicate the model of the car, the official fuel consumption and the numerical value of the CO2 exhaust;
8.4. indication that the proper use of the vehicle, regular maintenance and driving style (such as avoiding aggressive driving, driving with less speed, the time taken for braking, correctly inflated tires, idle time reduction, avoidance to carry extra weight) will reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions;
8.5. clarifications on gas emissions from motor vehicles, which cause the greenhouse effect and can cause climate change, as well as the laws and requirements of the appropriate assessment of the various fuel types available to consumers, the impact on the environment; 8.6. reference to European Community average CO2 emissions of cars, as well as the date when this pointer must be achieved;
8.7. the reference to the European Commission and collected internet information available on automotive fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. 9. the seller provides to each automotive brand to informative poster or display, showing the official fuel consumption and CO2 exhaust the numerical value of all car models, which are exhibited or offered for sale or lease to a specific marketing site (or through it), as well as trade show. 10. the poster or display the content for each passenger car model in accordance with the provisions laid down in the annex the following easily visible and legible information: 10.1 car model;
10.2. the CO2 exhaust officially defined numeric size expressed in grams per kilometre (g/km) rounded to an integer;
10.3. the official fuel consumption value, expressed in litres per 100 kilometres (1/100 km) and/or kilometres per litre (km/l) with an accuracy of one decimal place;
10.4. references:

This provision of the information referred to in paragraph 10 shall be indicated on the poster or display the content, with a minimum size of 70 x 50 cm. 16.2. information about the official fuel consumption is provided for all the promotional literature referred to in the car models. If the promotional literature contains several models, provides information on each model's fuel consumption or fuel consumption range for all models.
