If the latter condition is not fulfilled because of the design of the vehicle, the registration plate should be placed as near as possible to the specified height, but no higher than 2 m from the ground. Note the. Registration number plates height above the road surface shall be measured with the vehicle unladen. 4) registration number of the mark must be perpendicular to the plane of symmetry of the vehicle. If it does not allow the construction of the vehicle, registration number plate can be redirected from the vertical by not more than 30 ° when the surface facing up and the top edge is higher than 1.2 m from the road surface, and not more than 15º when the surface facing down and the top edge is higher than 1.2 m from the ground. 5) registration number of the mark should be visible in space, bounded by four planes: a) the two vertical planes which focused on both sides of the 30 ° angle to the longitudinal axis of the trans-portlīdzekļ and prejudice the registration plate sides; (b)) the horizontal plane pointing up at an angle of 15 ° to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle and the registration number affected the upper edge of the plate; (c)) the horizontal plane pointing down at an angle of 15 ° to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle registration number and the bottom edge of the plate, if the registration mark is higher than the top of 1.2 m from the road surface 1.9.
