No 72. § 18) the rules on the selection of candidates for the European Police Office, Issued in accordance with the law "on 26 July 1995, the Convention on the establishment of a European Police Office, which is based on the Treaty on European Union, Article K.3 (Europol Convention), of 23 July 1996, the Protocol on the Convention on the establishment of a European Police Office interpretation by the European Court of Justice with the previous ruling, which is based on the Treaty on European Union, Article K.3 and 19 June 1997, the Protocol on Europol, the members of the institutions, the Deputy Director of Europol and the privileges and immunities of staff, based on the Treaty on European Union, Article K3 of the Europol Convention and article 41, paragraph 3 of article 10 "1. determines the order in which the Republic of Latvia takes place in the selection of candidates for work in the European Police Office (Europol). 2. selection of candidates to work at Europol organised by the national police. 3. candidates to work at Europol select from the State police, the State security police, border guard, State revenue service, the Prosecutor General's Office and Criminal money laundering prevention service (hereinafter referred to as competent authorities) officials, employees or the public prosecutor, in the light of their compliance with the following criteria: 3.1 official, employee or the Prosecutor is a citizen of a Member State of the Union;
3.2. official, employee or Attorney is positively characterized his direct superior;
3.3. official, employee or public prosecutor is still in English and at least one of the official languages of the European Union;
3.4. an officer, employee or the Prosecutor comply with Europol's job advertisements (hereinafter the notice). 4. the national police announcement and accompanying materials, if any (for example, the application form, the questionnaire form) within three working days from the receipt of the electronic means of Europol shall send to the competent authorities. 5. the competent authority shall, on receipt of this provision of the information referred to in paragraph 4, the one working day with their present manpower. 6. the competent authorities official, employee or the Prosecutor shall provide the national police: 6.1 application for working in Europol, as well as the advertisement or in the materials accompanying the documents requested (hereinafter application);
6.2. documents confirming the applicant's compliance with the provisions laid down in point 3. 7. the national police within three working days of the applicant's compliance with the inspection rules laid down in point 3. 8. If the national police established that the applicant satisfies the provisions of paragraph 3, the criteria set out in the national police within three working days of the application shall be sent to Europol. 9. If the national police established that the applicant does not comply with the provisions laid down in point 3 or the application does not contain any advertisement or the materials requested, the national police, together with the reasons for the application, why not move on, sent back to the applicant.
