Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 124 in Riga in 2005 (15 February. No. 9 11) rules for pharmacist education and professional qualifications in the supporting documents recognised by applying a special system for the recognition of professional qualifications issued in accordance with the law "About the regulated professions and the recognition of professional qualifications" in article 36, paragraph 5, and article 54, first subparagraph 1. determines: 1.1. obtained foreign pharmacist education and professional qualifications in the supporting documents (hereinafter referred to as the pharmacist qualifications), which recognises the application of the special system for the recognition of professional qualifications;
1.2. in addition to the required duration of professional experience and way of applying a special system for the recognition of professional qualifications, if obtained, in accordance with the foreign pharmacist education and professional qualifications in the supporting documents acquired by the pharmacist to the law "on the regulated professions and the recognition of professional qualifications" adequate education requirements (concerning the structure and content), but the pharmacist qualifications certified education does not comply with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia the provisions laid down in the curriculum requirements for the pharmacist's professional qualification.
2. in applying a special system for the recognition of professional qualifications are recognised in Latvia, pharmacist qualifications (annex), which the Member States of the European Union, European economic area countries and other countries which, under the parliamentary-approved international agreements are laid down in the Member States of the European Union the right to the recognition of professional qualifications in the field, gives the right to professional training is recognized in the European Union and is issued to: 2.1. The Republic of Austria from 1 January 1994;
2.2. The Kingdom of Belgium from 1 October 1987;
2.3. In the Czech Republic, from 1 May 2004;
2.4. The Kingdom of Denmark from 1 October 1987;
2.5. the French Republic, of 1 October 1987;
2.6. The Hellenic Republic, of 1 October 1987;
2.7. in the Republic of Estonia, from 1 May 2004;
2.8. in the Republic of Ireland — from 1 October 1987;
2.9. the Republic of Iceland, from 1 January 1994;
2.10. the Italian Republic, from November 1, 1993, except for the Republic of Italy advances education and professional qualifications in the supporting documents in respect of the education of pharmacist started up on 1 November 1993 and completed by November 1, 2003 and does not comply with the laws and regulations of education laid down the minimum requirements;
2.11. the Republic of Cyprus, from 1 May 2004;

2.19. the Portuguese Republic, from 1 October 1987;
2.20. The Slovak Republic, from 1 May 2004;
2.21. The Republic of Slovenia, from 1 May 2004;
2.22. the Republic of Finland: from January 1, 1994;
2.23. The Kingdom of Spain, from 1 October 1987;
2.24. the Swiss Confederation — from June 1, 2002;
2.25. the Republic of Hungary, from 1 May 2004;
2.26. The Federal Republic of Germany, from 1 October 1987, except in the German Democratic Republic provided education and vocational Qualifi cations of the supporting documents, which certify education did not comply with the laws and regulations of education laid down the minimum requirements for the training of professional qualification;
2.27. The Kingdom of Sweden, from 1 January 1994.

4. before the provisions referred to in paragraph 2, the date (except this rule 6, 8 and 9 in paragraph) pharmacist qualifications provided to doc file, which gives the right to pursue the professional activities of a pharmacist and is recognized in the European Union, recognises the application of the special recognition of professional qualifications, the nas system if they comply with the laws of the Republic of Latvia education program laid down minimum requirements in the professional pharmacists kvalifik tion.
5. before the provisions referred to in paragraph 2, the date the country concerned (with the exception of this rule 6, 8 and 9 in paragraph) pharmacist qualifications issued documents, which gives the right to work in the professional pharmacists and certified education which does not comply with the laws and regulations of education laid down the minimum requirements for the pharmacist's professional qualification, recognised by applying a special system for the recognition of professional qualifications, if they are accompanied by the competent institution of that State-issued document certifying that the person is not less than three years of continuous professional experience in the profession of pharmacist five years prior to the date of issue of this document.
6. the German Democratic Republic in the territory provided a pharmacist kVA lifikācij, which gives the right to pursue the professional activities of pharmacists and certified education which does not comply with the laws and regulations of education laid down the minimum requirements for the pharmacist's professional qualification, recognised by applying a special system for the recognition of professional qualifications: UR6.1.tie declares that education is initiated before 3 October 1990;

6.2. they are accompanied by the Federal Republic of Germany the competent counselling prostitution laws issued a document certifying that such pharmacist qualifications are recognised throughout the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany under the same conditions as those referred to in paragraph 2, the provisions of the qualification documents, the pharmacist and the competent institution issued the document which certifies that the person to whom it was issued, is not less than three years the odd racing professional experience in the profession of pharmacist five years prior to the date of issue of this document.
7. the pharmacist education documents, issued to a person whose home State is the Principality of Liechtenstein recognizes, applying the special quality of the recognition of professional fikācij system, if accompanied by a compe awning of the Principality of Liechtenstein authorities issued a document which certifies that the person has acquired the practical training required for the professional activity of the pharmaceutical profession» Principality of Liechtenstein.
8. The special system for the recognition of professional qualifications shall apply the qualification document pharmaceutical farm, where the education is initiated or document are obtained: 8.1 to 1993 1 January: the Socialist Republic of Czechoslovakia and of the Czech Republic added the competent authority issued the document or documents proving that its territory following a pharmacist qualification documents have the same legal significance as in the Czech Republic issued the qualification document for pharmacists that gives the right to carry out professional activities of pharmacists and the person is not less than three years of continuous professional experience in the profession of pharmacist five years prior to the date of issue of the document;
8.2. before 20 august 1991, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and they have added to the competent authorities of the Republic of Estonia issued the document or documents proving that its territory following a pharmacist qualification documents have the same legal meaning as a pharmacist in the Republic of Estonia issued the qualification document that gives right to the professional activities of pharmacists, and a person is not less than three years of continuous professional experience in the profession of pharmacist five years prior to the date of issue of the document;
8.3. to 11 March 1990, the Soviet Socialist Republic of the childhood and is connected to the competent authorities of the Republic of Lithuania issued the document or documents proving that its territory following a pharmacist qualification documents have the same legal meaning as a pharmacist in the Republic of Lithuania issued the qualification document that gives right to the professional activities of pharmacists, and a person is not less than three years of continuous professional experience in the profession of pharmacist five years prior to the date of issue of the document;
8.4. to 1 January 1993, the Czech Socialist Republic of Slovakia and is connected to the competent institution of the Slovak Republic issued the document or documents proving that its territory following a pharmacist qualification documents have the same legal meaning as the Slovak Republic made the pharmacist qualifications issued in documents, which give the right to carry out professional activities of pharmacists and the person is not less than three years of continuous professional experience in the profession of pharmacist five years prior to the date of issue of the document;
8.5. till 25 June 1991, the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Republic of Slovenia is added to the competent authority issued the document or documents proving that its territory following a pharmacist qualification documents have the same legal meaning as told in the Republic of Slovenia issued a pharmacist qualification documents, which give the right to carry out professional activities of pharmacists and the person is not less than three years of continuous professional experience in the profession of pharmacist five years prior to the date of issue of this document.
9. the Italian Republic issued the qualification document for pharmacist pharmacist training, which started up on 1 November 1993 and completed by November 1, 2003 and that a certified education does not meet the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia the provisions laid down in the curriculum requirements for the pharmacist's professional qualification, recognised by applying a special system for the recognition of professional qualifications, if they are accompanied by the competent institution of the Republic of Italy issued a document certifying that person is not less than three years of continuous professional experience in the profession of pharmacist five years prior to the date of issue of this document.
10. If a person wishes to work in the Republic of Latvia for the pharmacy, the pharmacist's qualifications must be accompanied home country competent authority issued the document, which certifies that: 10.1. a person not less than three years of continuous professional experience in the profession of pharmacist five years prior to the date of issue of the document;
10.2. no person suffering from a mental illness, alcohol, narcotic, psychotropic or toxic addiction;
10.3. the person has a perfect reputation, it is not penalized for committing a criminal offence and the Court is not recognized as insolvent debtor, and it is not administratively punished during the year on pharmaceutical activity.
