Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 687 Riga 2005 6 September (pr. No 50 25) amendments to the Cabinet of Ministers on 25 April 2000 by Regulation No 158 "rules on hazardous chemicals and the use of dangerous chemical products and trade restrictions and bans issued under the chemicals and chemical products, in accordance with article 16 of the law 1. make Cabinet on 25 April 2000 by Regulation No 158" rules on hazardous chemicals and the use of dangerous chemical products and trade restrictions and prohibitions "(Latvian journal , 2000, 154./157.nr.; 2002, no. 42; 2003 150. no; 2004, 103, 209. no; 2005, no. 13) the following amendments: 1. Express 3.2. subparagraph by the following: "3.2. Consumer protection — no food trade in goods, except that rule 3.4 and 3.7 in the cases referred to in paragraph;";
1.2. to replace the words "in paragraph 3.3 environmental State Inspectorate and regional environmental governance" with the words "the national environmental guard";
1.3. to supplement the rules by 3.7 points below as follows: "the State of purity 3.7 supervisory inspection of precious metals and gems — marketing.";
1.4. to complement the informative reference to directives of the European Union with a 1 point 39. subparagraph by the following: "39) Commission 27 September 2004, Directive 2004/96/EC amending Council Directive 76/769/EEC on restrictions on the marketing and use of nickel for piercing of parts of the human body, with a view to the adoption of the Annexes to technical progress, no 1 (text with EEA relevance)".
1.5. deletion of paragraph 6 of annex 1 column 2, paragraph 3, the words and the number "but no longer than up to 2010;
1.6. make paragraph 28 of annex 1 column 2 paragraph 1 and 2 by the following: "1. In all the subjects that are the introduction, but pierced ears and other pierced parts of the human body, except when the nickel release rate of such objects is smaller than 0.2 µ g/cm2 for a week.
2. Articles that are in direct and prolonged contact with the skin, if withdrawal speeds of nickel following parts of articles coming into direct and prolonged contact with the skin, is more than 0.5 µ g/cm2 in the week: 2.1 earrings;
2.2. the necklace, bracelet and chain, kājsprādz, rings;
2.3. watches straps, cords, enclosures;
2.4. clothing, push rivets, zippers, metal insignia. "
