Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 358 in 2015 (30 June. No 30 35) requirements for retail businesses that deliver home-produced or prepared food of animal origin Issued in accordance with article 25 of the law on veterinary medicine 12. point 1. Rules lays down the requirements for the retail businesses that perform additional, local and limited activities, supplying the home-produced or prepared food of animal origin: 1. directly to the final consumer; 1.2. a small quantity of other retail businesses in accordance with European Parliament and Council of 29 April 2004, Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin, article 1, paragraph 5 "b") ("ii". 2. the food of animal origin within the meaning of this provision are: 2.1. milk products egg products honey products, processed fishery products, meat products and meat preparations, except for fresh meat; 2.2. the food containing this provision 2.1. products referred to in point. 3. A small quantity of food of animal origin produced by the outworker to be delivered for another retail company, it is up to 30 percent of the total domestic production of food of animal origin in volume, but up to 4000 kilograms of food per month. 4. the outworker is considered food business – analyst of economic activity (hereinafter – the company) that the home production of food of animal origin to the final consumer or delivered directly, not more than 30 percent of the total production of food of animal origin – the amount for another retail company, where operations with food of animal origin: 4.1 in a residential house where at least 75 percent, including existing buildings within its territory (such as the sauna , shed, barn, garage), is used for living and your needs; 4.2. single built in animal production and food preparation planned and spacious building in individual residential home territory; 4.3. individually built, food production and the preparation for and furnished in the building, which is located outside the individual residential home territory to the place of production of the raw material (for example, animal housing, dairy farm, slaughterhouse), if it is taken at least 80 percent of the food of animal origin or for the production of the raw materials intended for cooking. 5. the Outworker in food of animal origin to the final consumer directly: 5.1. supplies its production or production site; 5.2. delivery to your home, Office or other place specified by the final consumer; 5.3. the supply markets in the territory of Latvia; 5.4. supplies its retail businesses in the market area or place of production (production); 5.5. the offers on its tīmekļvietn. 6. the Outworker in food of animal origin in a small quantity may be delivered in the following retail establishments located in the territory of Latvia, 300 kilometre radius from the place of production: 6.1 to your retail business outside the place of manufacture or production; 6.2. other outworker; 6.3. catering company; 6.4. other shop. 7.
