Nr. 34, 37), College and University study-way rules of accreditation Issued under the University Act, article 9, first subparagraph, ninth subparagraph of article 55.3 and Education Act article 14, paragraphs 8 and 10, and article 27 of the general issue I. 1. determines: 1.1. high school and College accreditation; 1.2. the directions of study in higher education; 1.3. the direction of study accreditation the accreditation procedure and extraordinary; 1.4. the University, College and study direction of accreditation page samples; 1.5. criteria for accreditation process assesses the universities, colleges and courses of study; 1.6. the establishment of the Commission for the accreditation of study conditions, rights and obligations; 1.7. the University, College and study direction of accreditation bodies involved in rights and obligations. II. the institutions involved in the accreditation process, their rights and obligations 2. III. Universities and colleges accreditation arrangements 10. Applications submitted in electronic form shall be signed with a secure electronic signature in accordance with electronic document the conditions laid down in the law. The application and accompanying documents shall be submitted in an official language with English translation. In the case of a dispute, the national language is decisive in the documents submitted. 14. the application and accompanying documents shall be signed by the Rector of the University or college. This information shall be submitted by the University or College Center within 30 days after the request. 16. the application shall be returned to the applicant in such cases: 16.1. no payment for high school or college accreditation; 16.2. not submitted all the information that was requested in writing in accordance with paragraph 15 of these rules; 16.3. the document is not formatted according to the regulations laid down in document processing requirements. 17. The University or college to assess the Evaluation Committee, which is made up of seven experts. The experts have experience in assessing the quality of universities, colleges, higher education accreditation or the direction of the licensing process. The Evaluation Committee is one of the Latvian Union of students delegation representative and at least two foreign experts. The head of the Evaluation Committee should be, with international experience in the evaluation of higher education institutions. The Evaluation Committee of experts as a whole are: 17.1. higher education institutions management experience; 17.2. knowledge corresponding to the University or College in the field of study; 17.3. experience in higher education internal quality system assessment; 17.4. the experience of the evaluation of the scientific activities of the University; 17.5. experience in high school or college and employer organisations, cooperation in the field of evaluation. 18. the evaluation of the work of the Commission may participate, without the right to vote, in the Student Union of Latvia and the Latvian Ministry of education and Science Workers Union delegate observers, as well as the Council recommended observer. 19. Within three working days after the Commission's approval of the assessment centre shall inform the Council of the University or College on the composition of the Evaluation Committee. A University or college within 10 working days after this provision referred to in paragraph 27 of the Evaluation Committee of the joint opinion of the Centre may submit objections. If a university or college submit objections in the Centre for the evaluation of the joint opinion of the Commission, the Centre shall examine them and collect the certificate in accordance with the provisions of annex 4. 29. The Council shall inform the relevant university or college for the consideration of the application of the inclusion in the agenda of the Council, in its examination of the date, time and place. 31. a decision on high school or college accreditation, the Council shall adopt, on the basis of this provision of the information referred to in paragraph 29 of the universities of the time limit laid down in the law. 10 working days after the decision, the Council issued a decision to the University or College, Ministry of education and science and the Center. 32. on the basis of the Council decision on high school or college credentials, the Center is five working days shall prepare and forward to the Ministry of education and science in high school or college credentials page (annex 5). If the Council has adopted a decision to refuse accreditation to the University or College, graduate school or college you can re-submit the application no earlier than six months following the adoption of that decision. 35. The Council decision on high school or college accreditation or refusal to accredit the University or College may be challenged by the Ministry of education and science. V. Financing of 71.
