No 27 17) National Agency "youth basketball teaching centre" Regulations Issued under the public law agency 8. the third paragraph of article i. General questions 1. national agency youth basketball teaching centre "(hereinafter referred to as the Agency) is the Minister of education and science under the supervision of the national regulatory authority. Minister of education and science implemented the Agency's monitoring of the Ministry of education and science. 2. the Agency is designed to promote and coordinate sports policy for children and young people in basketball and guide the work of the youth basketball education institutions of physical development, health and basketball skill. II. Agency functions, tasks and rights 3. the Agency shall have the following functions: 3.1 to support sport policy, children and young people in basketball;
3.2. coordination of the implementation of the sport of basketball. 4. the Agency shall undertake the following tasks: 4.1 cooperation with the Latvian basketball Union draw up and implement children's and youth sports strategy in basketball;
4.2. organized and implemented by children and youth basketball development, emphasizing the professional guidance of sports the education objectives;
4.3. creating the preconditions for a high class professional preparation of Latvian national-interest;
4.4. promoting different age children and youth basketball lessons;
4.5 promote general physical development, generating interest in sport, as well as the ability to deal with basketball;
4.6. promote sports education further education teachers involved;
4.7. in cooperation with the Latvian basketball Union contribute to the preparation of the new sport of basketball judges;
4.8. rational use of vocational guidance education allocated financial resources. 5. the Agency shall have the following rights: 5.1. to request and receive from State and local government institutions, as well as the laws and regulations of the individuals within the Agency necessary for the performance of the functions of the information;
5.2. receive a fee for the tour, workshop and other basketball events;
5.3. receive donations and donations. III. Agency governance 6. The Agency shall be managed by the Director of the Agency.
