Setting the scene 1.1. European Union structural funds, one of the main guiding principles of the Union's regional policy is a tool for the implementation of the structural funds. Available funds available within the activity of public funding is allocated from the FIFG and the national budget resources under the single programming document, the amount of funding provided for under the FIFG Steering Committee approved the allocation of available financial resources.
