Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 662 in Riga august 15, 2006 (pr. No 42 22) the amendments to the law "on the road" issued in the Republic of Latvia article 81 of the Constitution in order to make the law "on the road" (the Republic of Latvia Supreme Council and Government Informant, 1992, no. 13; The Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and the Cabinet of Ministers rapporteur, 1994, no. 5; 1997, no. 22; in 2002, No 21; 2003, no. 23; 2004, no. 23; 2005, nr. 24) the following amendments: 1. Supplement article 6 to the fifth subparagraph by the following: "(5) the payment of user electronic tolling system interoperability of procedures established by the Cabinet of Ministers."
2. To supplement the law with article 25.1 the following: ' article 15.6. Minimum safety requirements of the European road network tunnels in the order in which road users provides a minimum level of security in the trans-European road network tunnels that exceed 500metr, determined by the Cabinet of Ministers. "
3. To supplement the law with the informative reference to European Union directives as follows: "Informative reference to European Union directives, the law includes provisions resulting from: 1) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 April 2004 Directive 2004/52/EC on road user tax electronic tolling system interoperability in the community;
2) of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004, Directive 2004/54/EC on minimum safety requirements for tunnels in the trans-European road network ".
